Samuel and Kelly are still happily married. Sam has been retired for a few years already, while Kelly retired months ago. Now they have plenty of time for their growing family, friends and also finally do some traveling.
The past five years proved how unpredictable Oscar and Adrianna's family can be. Neva and Sebastian have closed the "baby shop" for a while. The moment the twins were enrolled in pre-school, they decided to enroll in college and work on their education. Neva wants to become a social worker while Sebastian is working on his degree in accounting. Lulu and Dante were engaged for four years, doing missionary work in South America, before finally tying the knot last summer in Mexico. They returned home before winter holidays and are currently job hunting and hope to start their family soon. June had always been the most studious of the brood, she has enrolled at UCLA two years ago and works on her degree in journalism. Eli is freshly out of high school and will be taking his gap year in Zimbabwe together with his girlfriend Tamar.
Eleven months ago Oliver and Iris got the shock of their lives. What they thought was Iris's a tad bit early menopause turned out to be a baby. Their daughter Ava was born all healthy three months ago and both her older overprotective brothers have sworn she won't be dating until she turns thirty.
Four years ago shortly after returning to Gold Coast, Isadora and Calvin have filled for divorce, the news came as shock to everyone especially the kids. Calvin has moved out of family home and so did Jonas who blamed his mom for the divorce, the younger four children remained with Isadora after the divorce. With four kids under her roof and with Calvin providing close to nothing for them, the money struggles were becoming real and for the first time in her life Isadora was forced to take a 9-5 job. She now works for a travel agency arranging individual exciting trips for her clients, that's where she met Malcolm four years her senior and life long bachelor. After she arranged his trip to Bali, both the trip and she left an impression as he returned back a month later asking her out for dinner. She was almost ready to decline, but there was something in his eyes that made her accept. They went on the dinner date that night and were inseparable ever since, with Malcolm finally popping the question under the Christmas tree and Isadora saying yes, now the couple and Isadora's kids are planning the wedding. Jonas on the other hand had turned out to be quite a trouble under his father's guidance, especially after he found out the real reason of his parent's divorce. He had moved out of his father's house before turning eighteen and refused any help from his other family. He now lives on the street with his girlfriend Saffy who has a sad life story of her own.
Estelle and Cyrus's marriage lasted for seven years before the couple grew apart. In that time they managed to welcome one more baby, their now three year old daughter, Helena. Despite the divorce they remain good friends and are committed to raise their children together. As of now Estelle is not looking for a new partner, but when she bumps into someone she wouldn't be opposed to a new relationship.
Abigail and Thomas still love their quiet country life. Thomas is now a well known plumber in the community and Abigail assisted with all births that took place within tenths of miles from their home. Obviously not her own one as it was Thomas who delivered the youngest addition to their family, now three year old son Wolfgang, who goes by Wolf all the time.
Josiah finally got a girlfriend, already two years ago. Lavinia is eight years his junior and they met while she was an intern in the law firm Josiah works in. She is currently on brake from her career as the couple welcomed a son, Nikolai, six weeks ago. Josiah is excited to be a father, well at least for the 20 minutes in the mornings when he is able to squeeze his son into his busy schedule.
