Dove; Thyme
What do you think of Dove and Thyme for middle names? What first names would you pair them with?
Much obliged!

I enjoy Dove and Thyme as unexpected middles, both for their nature imagery as well as for their symbolic associations with "peace" and "courage", respectively.

I really like Dove as a middle, and I think Thyme could work, but I'm less of a fan. Maybe with a great first. My two combos with Dove are Sylvia Lillian Dove and Amarinthea Calla Dove.

I love them! I'd even use them as first names. But Thyme is male only to me. In Dutch we have Tijm, Thijm, Tijmen and Thijmen, which are all male names. Dove is good on both genders, I think. But for a boy I guess I'd prefer Dov.

Liadan Thyme is perfect.
I like Thyme as a middle name, not too sure about Dove.
Thanks!
I'm a sucker for plant names so I definitely like Thyme. Dove is good too, although I'd be much less likely to use it.
I'd pair some maybe old-fashioned and woodsy sounding names with Thyme, and more classic-sounding names with Dove. The imagery I'm trying to go for with the combos is dense woodland for Thyme (green/brown, woodsy, maybe folksy) and open sky for Dove (clean, clear, blue, etc) if that makes sense.
Thyme (warning: some of these are cheesy double-plant names)
Rosamund Thyme
Artemisia Thyme
Margaret Thyme
Branimira Thyme
Sorcha Thyme
Athena Thyme
Kresimira Thyme
Willow Thyme

Oh my gosh, what wonderful lists, thank you!
I like Dove. My eventual plan for Dolores if Hector had been a girl was to make it Dolores Virginia and use Dove for a nickname. I think it's pretty and not too flaky as far as word names go.
Thyme isn't to my taste, but is pretty enough.
I'd put Dove with something with a super effeminate flowery style. Eloisa Dove or Melisande Dove.
Perhaps Nicola Thyme or Elinor Thyme.

Eloisa Dove and Melisande Dove are really, really beautiful. Great imagery!
Eloisa Dove is too divine!
Miller Thyme.
Mourning Dove.
Mourning Dove.
Sometimes not everyone has the same associations as you. Mourning Dove, sure; Miller Thyme, even google isn't really letting me in on it.
Sorry, wrong spot!
