Sadie
I really love this name but can't think of any MN's that go well with it. Any suggestions? Also would it be odd for me to use this if I have a daughter as its origin/meaning is that same as Sally?

I love the name Sadie. I used to babysit for a little girl named Sadie. She didn't have a mn because her dad didn't want her to have one, but her mom Marla always wanted to use Sadie McKay. That's the middle name I always think of with Sadie.

How nice. Both Sally and Sadie are both nns for Sara(h), traditionally. It would be a nice twist on your name. I'm Ann and my mother is Anna (she goes by Nancy), so this seems natural to me.

I think that it's fine to use Sadie even though it has the same origin and meaning as Sally. I have a distant cousin named Elizabeth who has a daughter named Isabel. I really don't think that it's an issue. I actually think that it's a nice connection.Sadie Rebecca

I think that it would be fine even though it's related to Sally; a great way to honor without using the same name. Here are some mns (sorry if any are repeats) . . . Sadie Elizabeth

I love Sadie!!! Adam Sandler named his daughter Sadie Madison in May, which I found kind of funny. Anyway here are some other suggestions:
Sadie Elizabeth / Elisabeth
Sadie Parker
Sadie Marissa
Sadie Allison
Sadie Natasha
Sadie Maria
Sadie Olivia
Sadie Danica
Sadie RheaEdit: No, I don't think it would be strange. I think it would be kind of nice, like naming your daughter after yourself in a more subtle kind of way. :)"I've always liked everybody. I'm not sure everybody likes me."-Johnny DeppI don't see no shine,

Sadie Olivia
Sadie Jane
Sadie Caroline
Sadie Katrine

Sadie RosalieI think a two syllable MN with the emphasis on the second syllable (Adele, Nadine, etc) would work best.
