My DH's aunt, who died at a great age, was named Molly Esme; both were family names. She didn't seem to like it much, and always went by Bunny. Her brothers were Daniel and Fraser.

I really like Molly but I prefer it as a MN. I have it in one of my combos (Rosa Molly Anouk) to honor a Mary.Molly's siblings would be...Hannah, Isabelle/Gabrielle, Tristan, and Isaac

It is an okay name. Not my favorite but nothing really wrong with it either. Totally depends on taste. I find it a little common & plain so I would pair it with one of my favorite middle names that is more uncommon. Molly ColetteMolly, Justin, Nicholas, Heather, Amanda

After reading the other responses, I see everyone so far likes it better as a nickname to Mary.
I know one - Mary Patricia, nickname Molly

My name is Molly. I think it is a great name for everyday use, but that it should be a nickname for something with a little more heft, like Mary. I never liked my name when it was the only one I had, but since being baptized as an adult and taking Mary as my Christian name, I have liked it much better.I'm not really good at combos or sibsets.
