I like the nicknames of the little ones you help care for!
vote up1
Uh ... That's their real given names.
Just kidding ;)Sass got her nn cause she's 6 going on 16 (with an attitude to match, oy :/)
Boof because she smashes her way through life (a month where she hasn't wound up in the ER is a good month by our standards)
Pixie because when she was born she was always called Piccolina (the little one). I picked it up, in a short time shortened it to Pics, and in even less time lengthed it to Pixie. (Because I'm Australian and that's what we do) she is a mischievous little elf so it works. I also call her Bean a lot a lot (no idea why, it just happened)

Haha, yes, definitely Scandinavian!I discovered Febe through being sad that the lovely Phoebe doesn't really work in Swedish. Then I remembered it's Greek, and from how Greek names usually are transcribed into Swedish, I figured Phoebe ought to be spelled Febe in Swedish. And when I googled that, I discovered that Febe is indeed the "real" Swedish form. :)Glad you like Fale! I should probably point out that it's two syllables and does not sound like "fail". :P

I'm glad you did both names and combos - I wish I had thought of that. I like:Elisabeth (especially Elisabeth Marian)
Hermione
Jane (Jane Antigone is gorgeous!)
Juliet
Marion I love your entire boys list. George, Charles, Joseph and James are so classic and handsome, and Ambrose and Gabriel are lovely.

Elisabeth is by far my favorite spelling of Elizabeth-- I think the 's' just makes it prettier, softer, and more elegant. Marion is gorgeous and seeing it here is making me realize it's missing my PNL! And Naomi is gorg but I think Noemie is prettier ;)Lots of great boy names! Gabriel and Benjamin are tops for me too, and Perseus nn Percy is a fave too (I also like Percival for Percy).LikeElisabeth Marian
Naomi Madeleine
Hermione Catherine - love it!
Catherine Johanna
Jane Antigone - I like Antigone Jane betterPerseus James
Robert Orion - sounds like the name of an athlete but I love it haha

Helena and Marceline are beauties! I've begun to love Marceline lately, especially as a middle. It seems to add class to everything it's paired with.Eulalie and Sunaina are lovely as well. I'd heard Sunaina, but never really knew how to spell it. This version is pretty.I'm so glad somebody else likes Ashley on a boy too.

Haha I had to check your list after getting a few new faves from you last time :P Great to see Ashley for a guy! That's one of my favorite unisex names.

Like a lot of your girl names (Kaia and Alisa are nms), especially Stella. Diana is criminally underused, it's so classic and gorgeous.I can't look at Maxim and not cringe though cause of that awful magazine.

Your girls list is wonderful! Vintage, spunky, lovelies. I especially like... actually, there's not one I don't like. They all seem perfect together.Out of your boys, I like Tobias, Felix, Frederick, and Calvin.
vote up1
Malcolm and Calvin have been really growing on me lately. I think they both have a very nice strong handsome feel and are classic without being too same old, same old (though I honestly love the Jameses, Georges, Williams and the like). They're refreshing and I'd love to meet a little boy named Malcolm or Calvin.I also like:
Matilda
Phoebe - love love love the meaning but something about the sound is off-putting to me
Rose
Beatrice
Miriam
Cosima - a lovely silky feeling on this one, very nice.Felix - nice, but nms
Tobias - I really like Toby :)

I was reading your list and it's mostly nice and I'm thinking your taste runs into some old fashioned type names and then I get to Cosima! Took me by surprise :) I know it's technically an old fashioned name too but it feels a lot more unusual than the others (it's one of my faves too). Also, just saw Divergent this weekend and do you happen to be a fan? I feel like half the characters were named using your lists haha

I love Bram and plan in using it as a nn for Abram! Also really dig Corentin, Eben and Winter from your boys list, and from your girls list I like July
vote up1
Theodosia, Petra, and Lenora are gorgeous. I'd never heard Eseld before (is it an Isolde variant) but its growing on me. And July has so much spunk. Remy, Bram, Leon, and Corentin are the standouts for me from your boys. So handsome and distinguished.

I love Corentin! I also like the Cornish version Corentyn 'cor-REN-tin'From the others I like...Bram, Lucan, Remy, Kynareth, Jubilee, Artemisia, Eseld, July and Lenora.

I like:Corvo - though I can't quite decide if I like it a lot, or if it reminds me too much of the Swedish word korv (sausage) :P

Petra - I keep forgetting how much I like Petra, thanks for reminding me :)

I ♥ Remy. How do you pronounce it?
vote up1
rem-EEIt's cute, right?

Good. I really don't like the ray-MEE pronunciation. And yes, Remy is adorable!
vote up1
I don't like that ray-mee pronunciation either bleh I grew up with it from X-Men so I always liked how they say it (for Remy Lebeau a.k.a. Gambit) lol They've always pronounced reh-mee in all the tv shows and movies.

My favourites are: Augustin & Leon, Artemisia, Lyra & Petra

Corentin and Augstin are fantastic! I like Lucan, Remy, and Winter, too, though I prefer Winter as a feminine name.Kynareth has a really nice sound and isn't too overtly nerdy except to those "in the know." Will she grant me a blessing? ;)Artemisia is great, though I stick with Artemis, personally. Theodosia is another really great one. Strong and feminine. Eseld is okay - I prefer Isolde.I had name dream featuring Petra recently. She was a barista I befriended, haha.

I like Winter a lot as a unisex name and I think it's safe to say it's my favorite unisex name lol I was gonna put it on my girl list too but Jubilee edged it out! And Kynareth has been my favorite Divine for ages now so I finally just gave in and added her name to my list haha
