Thoughts? And for fun, what would you name a sister to 'Alice'? Any ideas? No 'A' names please. Thanks!

I'm really sick of this name. I've only met a couple of them in my life, but it seems like somebody posts about how wonderful Alice is on here at least once a week.Alice and LucyAlice and EmmaAlice and LydiaAlice and ElizabethAlice and SarahAlice and VictoriaAlice and Bella

Alice and Lucy are nice.
I like Alice and Lydia too.

Alice is so feminine and lovely, a classic and beautiful name. As for her sisters, I like the sound of: Alice and Lucy (Although Lucy and Alice sounds better)
Alice and Matilda
Alice and Violet
Alice and Phoebe
Alice and Clara
Alice and Mary
Alice and Martha
Alice and Jane
Alice and Hannah
Alice and Hazel
Alice and Georgia
Alice and Daisy
Alice and Daphne
Alice and Ivy
Alice and Tabitha
Alice and Ruby
Alice and Ruth
Alice and Rosemary
Alice and Rosalie
Alice and Clementine
Alice and Cleo
Alice and Eve / Evelyn
Alice and Edith / Edie
Alice and Esme

I had an Alice cat once whose sister was Katie. For humans, Alice and Celia for identical twins! Alice and Helen is nicely vintage. Alice and Lucy; Alice and Emily; Alice and Rosamond.

I love Alice. And as a sibset: Alice & Matilda.

Love that as a set! Or as a first and middle name pairing. In either order.

We just named our daughter Alice, so naturally I am a fan.I would imagine any classic name on a sibling: Rose, Eleanore, Elisabeth, Margaret. We went with Alice Marguerite, older brother is August Theodor.

I like it a lot, it makes me think of 'Alice in Wonderland' which is always good. The only problem is that it is way too common in many countries.Sister: I want to say Beatrice but maybe some people would say they are too similar. So I say Victoria.

Never liked it. The sound gives me the willies. I don't love Alison or anything but I prefer it to Alice. I'd expect a sister of Alice to be named something like Rose, Lucy, Charlotte, Helen, Margaret, or Eleanor.Alice, Rose, and Lucy go together the best. They seem very British.

I don't really like it. It's not terrible, but it just looks like "a lice." For that reason I'd prefer Alys, but that doesn't really look right either. And there's something that just feels weird about the second syllable, both in look and sound.A sister to Alice would be...
Cecily
Clara
Clare
Diana
Edith
Eleanor
Eloise
Felicity
Fiona
Josephine
Lana
Lara
Lillian
Lorna
Louise
Lydia
Matilda
Mercy
Minerva
Nancy
Odette
Opal
Rosalind
Ruby
Zara

I'm loving Alice atm, and considering putting her on my list. She's my go to middle when I need a whimsical, magical, but not too out there option. I'd probably name her sister Clara (Clah-ruh) or Thea.

I hate it. I don't like saying the -ice part, I don't like how most of it is 'lice', it seems supercilious and masculine to me (kind of like Alistair does), and it makes me think of little girls in combination with drugs (Alice in Wonderland, Go Ask Alice).I'd maybe name a sister Sybil, Tirzah, Vivian, Winifred, or Penelope.Alice Octavia
Sybil Meredith
Tirzah Valentina
Vivian Christobel
Penelope Justina
Winifred Naomi
