Quints?
My husband and I are expecting quints of unknown genders. We like popular first names (like Jacob, Michael, Aidan, Sophia, Abigail, Olivia and about a million others) and older middle names (like George, Henry, Diane and Helen, classic names that have fallen out of style).Suggestions?

What a coincidence, I was just thinking about what I would name all-girl quints. This is what I came up with:
Aurora, Anneliese, Amelia, Annika, and Arya (or maybe Angelica instead of Annika). Feel free to take my quint-set :)

Keturah and Elinor are really pretty. For some reason, I don't love Eleanor but really like Elinor/Elanor. I think the first spelling makes me think of old ladies, but the other two are cool without being too strange-looking.

What I like to see in terms of naming.Since you're having quintuplets, I'll try to keep it no higher than five names for both genders.Male:
Mikhail (Nickname Misha)
Ivan
Christopher
Lucien
Illen (Ill-en)(Ill like ill, en pronounced like the letter n)Female:
Ilina (Ill-ee-na)
Ramona
Illuna (Ill-oo-nah)
Mana (Mah-nah)
Evelynne (Evah-lin)

Wow, congratulations!! As far as I can tell, you're pretty new here. We're pretty nerdy and would love it if you stuck around through the naming process and births. I don't know that we've had real-life quints born to someone on the boards before. Not as long as I've been here anyway. :) All the best with your pregnancy. Logan Daniel
Dominic Miles
Declan Arthur
Seth WilliamAddison Ruth
Evelyn Mia

Congratulations!
Sounds like you have a good taste in names :)I would personally avoid having names from the top ten/twenty, just because it can be annoying to have very common names, but if you really love the names don't let the popularity stop you!

Wow, how exciting! I hope you don't mind me asking so many questions I've just never talked to anyone with multiples above triplets. When are you due and when do you expect to deliver? What was the doctor's reaction when they found them on the scan? That's so rare, you should go to this site to tell them about your quints since they're trying to keep track of all of the quints in the world! http://www3.telus.net/tyee/multiples/worldquints.html

Wow! Congratulations! That's awesome - What an adventure of grand proportions! And quite a naming adventure, too!Do you have a PNL we can vote on? That would give you a good visual of what names people like on average. Also, I'd love to vote on some polls of you favorite names and combos. If you post some, make sure you put an identifier in the title so we know it's you and that you're asking for real name advice (a lot of people just are polling for fun, so it's nice to know when someone wants actual help and opinions - I always pay more attention and vote sincerely when I know that) Enough of my nattering! To the names. Here are some quick ideas (it's late, so I can't think terribly clearly at the moment so forgive me)Some boys:Tristan Miles
Aidan Jeffrey
Justin Michael
Benjamin/Bennett Andrew
Adam Jacob
Christopher/Christian Thomas
Joran Eli (a variant of George)
Seth Daniel/Daniel Seth
Gabriel HenrySome girls:Felicity Diane
Sophia Christine
Abigail Susanne
Clarissa Maren
Cora Isobel/Corinne(a) Isabella
Helena Tess
June Audrey/Audrey June
Morgan/Margot ElaineGood luck!

Thank you! I'm only ten weeks in, so we haven't REALLY started naming yet. I'm trying to get a clear idea of what I like.Once I'm a few monthes in I think I'll get an account on here, I just stumbled upon it yesterday.

well, welcome, then! some thoughts...this is a great site. i love that you can see real meanings for names, not just made up ones like on some sites, and also read comments and ratings. not to mention, all the users are completely crazy for names and will love to give opinions! haha a few of my favorite other sites to check out and/or post polls on are:babynamewizrd.com - some really cool features
nymbler.com - a tool of the above site, but on its own site.
babynameguide.com - lets you save a list and has some unique categories
namenerds.com - specializes in scottish, irish, and welsh names. has a fun "naming style" quiz
