Karl and Evelyn. Evelyn was a favorite but skyrocketed up my list after my grandmother passed away (it was her name).
2. Current favorite combo (boy and girl)?
Karl Robert and Evelyn Patricia

Philip (belonged to a family member associated with quite a bit of unpleasantness) and Alberta (doubtful that I could convince anyone else to love this one)

Bruce and Pearl. "Bru" is such a gross sound to me. Pearl sounds like a flat, ugly splat, purl purl purl.

Moraine. A moraine is just a pile of debris.

Elizabeth Bennet. ;-) Nerdy, but I have to say I'd be tickled to introduced myself as Elizabeth Bennet for the rest of my life. I love Elizabeth besides and it is just a nice, average name.
8. If you could travel to any time period but had to take a pseudonym, which time period would you go to and what would be your nom de plume?
I don't know about the time period but I always thought if I had to pick a nom de plume it would be Maria Maiuri. Maiuri is a family name on my mother's side and I like it with Maria because they're so similar and sing-songy.

Otis and Jennie. They give me an image of dusty little towheaded kids in overalls.

There is someone on here that likes Alec (Mireio?) and her general style is pretty close to mine (for boys). For a girl I would choose someone who knows that Ellen is the only name I can see myself use for a girl. I think I've made it pretty clear over the years and people are probably sick of hearing about my love for Ellen. ;D

I have two categories for this: my staples and my trends. Arthur and Rosalind have not left my favorites in the past five years, but Esme and Thaddeus are my current favorites, though they may not stay there.

It's so funny you say that re:15 cause there are some character who, to me, never felt like their name. Like Faith on Buffy, or as Honeybee suggested, Carl on The Walking Dead. I was tempted to do Buffy cause early on I hated her name but it really is her. Another one is Helga, as in Helga Hufflepuff the founder of Hufflepuff in HP... Helga is such a harsh name to me and not one I would ever associate with the founder of Hufflepuff!

I think it is technically a game, but I don't think it really matters if you post it here. There's a gray area... As long as this board doesn't start to get covered up with similar/copycat type posts, it's fine IMHO.

Yay! Well, see if you can think of any girls names that aren't tooooo out there, but not too print. I'm having the worst time finding anything that really shouts to me! J and I already have a boys name picked out, but nothing definite on a girl. Everything seems very blah and gray...:) but...j is also very picky on girls names-he's not interested in anything crazy! Haha...no, you didn't miss any announcement. I just never made one:) lol. Nooo....in couldn't quite convince j on Gallagher. He said it was too weird...sigh...:) but he did decide on Grier, which I do like quite a bit! It will be Grier Phillip for a boy, after J's uncle who has been like another dad to my hubby...so at least that's easy:) only for a girl is a little hard! And I do like Danica and Natalie quite a bit, but he doesn't:) arrrrrgh!
