What would your name be if you were born today
This is a quick link that finds your names's ranking you Birthday's stats vs. today's stats. http://time.com/3856405/baby-name-popularity/My name today would be Emily. Which is not bad. My name in the 1900's would be Ethel.I know that I have a fad-name, and I have mixed feelings about it. My parents must have really been fans of the fads, as my name was the 7th most popular name in my birth year and my sister's name was the 7th most popular name in her birth year.

According to this, today I would be Amberly. I got pretty interesting names here (mostly misspelled):1890s - Rene :/
1900s - Rue (That's pretty cool actually)
1910s - Elener (aww)
1920s - Capitola (awesome)
1930s - Berdie
1940s - Claretta
1950s - Corene
1960s - Daina
1970s - Yulanda
1980s - Marti
1990s - Kymberly
2000s - SairaActually, seeing as I was not born in the States, in 2013 I'd be a Hodaya. Which is also not bad.

I was born in '91 and named Erica Rose. Today I would be Arianna Amber. I don't mind Arianna or Amber individually, but together they're terribly trendy! Then they sorted by decade popularity (1990s back through the 1890s), and in each ascending decade I would've been:Marissa Montana
Catherine Lucia
Stacey Bridgett
Kathy Tamela
Vicki Lila
Marsha Lottie
Kay Vernell
Sarah Roselyn
Myrtle Bennie
Hattie Freddie
Ada Bulah
Della CelesteI wouldn't mind being called Ada, Sarah Roselyn, Marsha, or Catherine Lucia (that one's lovely!). Or Marissa, if I hadn't grown up knowing a really, really horrible girl with that name. I did actually go to school with a girl named Bridgett, spelled that way - she hated her name then, I wonder what she thinks of it now.

1910, Katie. Make that Katharine and I'd smile.
1920, Beulah. Gasp!
1930, Nellie. Surprised there were any left in the 30s.
1940, Marion. Yawn.
1950, Juanita. Not where I live, believe me!

1990, Kendra. Eh?
2000, Jillian. Nicer with a G, but definitely OK.

Lilah SophieLilah Sophie Aaniyah. Hmm, Lilah Sophie is quite nice. So, my family:DH: Alex Sebastian
DW: Caitlyn AlaniDD: Lilah Sophie (Aaniyah)
DD: Aalayah Avery
DS: Cameron AdilMy brother's first name didn't rank so I anglified it.None of my names are that great, but I think it was the worst in the 1890s when I was Exie! I've also been Lavon and Chastity. Urgh. My favourite, I think, is the 1900s. I would have been Maye Estella. I get very tacky in the 2000s: Candace Desiree! Then in the 30s I was Lavon Beulah (Willard), which I'm not exactly a fan of.

One advantage to having an "Ewwww, POPULAR!" name is you can play those kind of games easily.
My own name hasn't ranked for I don't know how long, so I doubt very much I can use this gizmo.

I tried it for my husband, and no, he doesn't rank. If he were younger, probably.
He has an Arabic name which isn't unusual in Arabic speaking countries, though not top-ten popular. On the plus side, his name is easily spelled and pronounced.

Got one!Actually, Starla has ranked! I don't know when you were born so I just put 1980 as most people on here seem around that age. You'd have been Elianna Dakota.
