Tragedy struck the Stein family 2 years ago when Ilan had a heart attack. It was completely unexpected and he didn't survive. Shoshanna was devasted, but she is learning how to live on her own.
Claude and Helena had another child, Cameron. Claude is now an assistant rabbi at the local temple. Gabbi and Bella both have boyfriends. They are in their senior year of high school, and couldn't be more opposite. Gabbi went the drama route and stars in all the school plays. Bella is on all the sports teams. Gabbi has started dating Oliver, who usually has the leads against her in the school plays. Bella is dating Gage, the quarterback for the football team. Everett is now in his sophomore year of high school and is a big brain at school. Austin is in 7th grade and loving school.
Juliana and Adam got engaged. They've decided to wait until after college and they have teaching jobs to get married. Felicity and Dave are still together, but they aren't sure if they'll stay together once they graduate from college. Olivia and Ava are both enjoying high school and neither have time for boys right now. Miles is in 7th grade at the same school as Austin and the cousins are having a blast.
Ari and Talia have decided to stop having children. Harry has a girlfriend named Felicia. They are in their freshman year of college and she is here on school Visa from Italy. Sylvie and Henry got married after they graduated from college. She is in law school and Henry is interning at a big corporate firm, which basically means he's getting paid a ton of money to get coffee. They recently had a daughter named Cassie. Emma is in her sophomore year of high school and is very shy, but has started writing for the school newspaper. Fiona is in 6th grade and Andy is in 2nd grade.
Teddy and Chloe had one more child, Harmony. They now have 7 kids and are done. Eli had his Bar Mitzvah this year.
Leah decided to move home after Ilan died so Shoshanna would have company, and since Finn died she's been very lonely. Leah is still working on her book, a second draft, and that has helped Shoshanna cope as well.
