Also, it looks like Kira is a feminine form of Cyrus, not Kieran, and Donna is a feminine form of Donald, not Donovan.

In those cases I went by sound rather than pure etymology.

Oooh, I forgot about Adrian & Adrienne! As well as Darius (as a masculine form of Daria).
