These names are so beautiful! How does one pronounce Ptolemy, I'm guessing a silent T, but not sure! :)
vote up1
Usually the P is silent.

Quadruplets, ok, challenge accepted.
Girls:
Ivy Kristin
Holly GenevieveDean Melchior
John FannarTried to make a winter themed set.
Ivy and Holly - Christmas plants.
Melchior - a name traditionally assigned to one of the Magi.
Fannar - possibly means "snow drift".

A bit more sound-alike than I probably would IRL Rosalie Sylvana Catharina
Valerie Odilia Josephine Thorsten Marino Constantine
Carsten Roland BenedictAll mns honouring

I don't want to be a bother, but Valerie Odilia Josephine is magnificent, especially knowing that mns are honouring!

Let's have some fun!Cosima Carlotta Sofonisba Gaetana
Tassilo Abramo Adriano Pio
Viridis Elettra Barbara Ottavia
Nettuno Ladislao Arriguccio EzioNote: I know Tassilo isn't Italian like the others, but I love it too much to exclude it from all this poncey regality.

Oh my God what a glorious hot mess XD love it!!

I'm delighted that you consider Barbara to be both regal and poncey! I'm rather fond of it myself, but most other people just write it off as one more memory of an elderly relative ...
vote up1
I actually kind of like Barbara, it's both my grandmother and my husband's grandmother's name. His grandmother is a lovely woman, my grandmother was a piece of work so we'll never use it, but I like it.
vote up1
I love Barbara! It's so resounding. I wouldn't call it regal and poncey by itself, but it blends in pretty seamlessly with such names, I think.

Wow I totally hate your girls' names! They both gave me carsickness after such quick veering inharmoniously between styles. Casey Seraphine... my gosh, outstandingly bad! Well done. And neither name is actually wretched on its own. I like Seraphine a lot, and Casey is just a mediocre 90s name. I think part of it is the hissing between the S-vowel-S in both names. I don't always hate hissing, but it makes these corners awfully sharp. Like I said, carsick.ETA Cassia Sloane is outstanding too. Like, Cassia is this beautiful, elegant little dress, cosmopolitan, expensive but not too showy, meticulously chosen, hair styled with it and everything, and then someone comes up and pours an entire really cheap beer all over it as soon as she walks into the party. Sidney Matthew is pretty cool. Thomas Jacob is kind of like those sister Schubert rolls from thanksgiving getting colder in my fridge.I know you didn't ask for opinions, but it's an opinions board, and I had 'em.Now *I* have to name quads too? Gosh let's see. I'm going to be inspired by you and try to mesh extremely different styles. You tell me if you get carsick.Xanthe Jessica
Orla Vanessa
Dorian Sawyer
William Draven

I actually kind of like William Draven, it sounds like it could belong to a poet. I've also never heard the names Dorian or Xanthe, maybe I'll add them to my character naming repertoire. No carsickness here! :)
vote up1
What about Cassia Seraphine and Casey Sloane instead?
vote up1
Actually, I like both of those a lot better. Seraphine is like a perfect silver or green scarf with Cassia. And I actually like Casey and Sloane a lot more together than as individuals.

Your girl combos make me want to vomit blood.

I, personally, am starved for drama.
vote up1
Oh no. I rather like them.
vote up2
Xanthe Jessica is great. Xanthe Vanessa is even greater.
vote up2
Is it bad if I think Dorian Sawyer and William Draven actually sounds quite good? Neither are combos I'd use though, but they certainly doesn't make me carsick which Xanthe Jessica and Orla Vanessa does.
vote up1
I like William Draven too. It has a mildly gothic feel to it like a black waist coat with a pocket watch chain hanging out. Dorian Sawyer is okay, but it is more strongly blending too separate styles. Urban emo meets good natured country boy - they might actually be better together.
vote up1
I certainly wouldn't use Draven or Sawyer either, but I was trying to make good combos, so I'll take the compliment!

Today, I'd name them: Susannah Beatrice "Annie"Isabel Genevieve Peter Laurence Alfred James Middle names are family names.
