Neither has Luna (a name I used to dislike because it reminded me of "lunatic"). Briella has reentered the Top 10 after a very long absence, this time with a more old-fashioned middle name to ground it. I also think I've finally settled on a middle name for Naomi.

I like/love Nicholas Rowan, Finn Gabriel, Donovan Leo, Malcolm Elliott, Dominic Edwin, Levi Nathaniel, Cameron Tobias, James Arthur Raphael, Sabrina Willow, Cassia Florence, Elise Ivy Odette, Naomi Celeste, Autumn Delilah, and Luna Miriam (I don't normally like Miriam, but I love it in this combination). From the older list, I like Cameron Malachy "Cam", Cassander Logan "Cass", Silas Anthony, and Penelope Wren "Poppy." It's so interesting to see how tastes may change or stay the same after so many years.

In terms of single names, I like Arthur, Lysander, George, Hugo, Benjamin, Beatrix, Sylvia, Margot, Lucille, Sybil, Ivy, Hermione. My favorite combos are Phoenix Arthur Blaise, Ptolemy Lysander George, August Lysander Wolf, Beatrix Lavender Margot, Lavender Athena Lucille, & Sybil Henrietta Ivy. :)

Oh, I love these combos! I flippin' adore Horatio Phoenix Arthur, August Lysander Wolf, Lorenzo Felix Amadeus, and Lysander Alaric Wolf - they all seem to have at least one of my guilty pleasures in there (particularly Horatio, Wolf, and Amadeus!) As for the girls, I think Beatrix Lavender Margot is gorgeous, and Lavender Athena Lucille too. I like all the classical connections in Clio Alexandria Sybil, and Ziva Hermione Sahar is super cool. (And Morgana Hermione Tempest sounds like a girl I would not want to mess with!)

Some of these I've commented on before, but others are new:Caspian Sherlock Walter - Caspian & Sherlock are mega-literary together, and then Walter comes around the corner and punches you in the face. Walter Sherlock has a better flow, I think (if you still want to use Walter); Caspian doesn't sound like he belongs with either, imo.Phoenix Arthur Blaise - "Phoenix" and "Blaise" (Blaze) sound corny in the same combo, honestly. Arthur and Blaise go together, but not Phoenix.Ptolemy Lysander George - I know George's roots are Greek, like the other two, but it's so incredibly punchy here (and English) that it's almost jarring. "Ptolemy Lysander" is also already pretty loaded, but if you still want three-name combos, what about "Ptolemy Ellis Lysander," or "Ptolemy Blaise Lysander"?Horatio Phoenix Arthur - Horatio at the beginning is not necessarily an improvement on Blaise at the end. It's that first syllable. I can't shake it.Nikolai Emrys Altair - Now this is really interesting. Russian, Welsh, and Arabic all coming together in one combo that, oddly enough, flows well.Artemus Dorian Hugo - Dorian Hugo is great. Artemus Hugo, while not my style, isn't bad either. But reading and saying Artemus Dorian... when said together the syllable pattern is repetitious. What about Artemus Hugo Dorian?Indigo Benjamin Taavi - Indigo Benjamin runs into the same problem as Artemus Dorian for me: two names with repetitious syllable patterns. Like with the above, what about Indigo Taavi Benjamin?August Lysander Wolf - Hipster cool, no complaints.Lorenzo Felix Amadeus - An Italian travels back in time to meet his sixteenth-century ancestor - all in one name combo! Teasing aside, this has a certain whimsical charm.Lysander Alaric Wolf - Lysander and Alaric feel like two different genres: the Greco-Shakespearean and the Medieval Norman Raider. They both go with Wolf, but not each other, imo; maybe "Lysander Wolf Alaric" would be better? I prefer "August Lysander Wolf" either way.

I love most of these! Ambrose is one that I don't think about a lot, but when I do I really like it. I like the vowels in Benedict and Frederick a lot (which I'm aware is a fairly odd thing to say!) and Felix, Johannes, and Lysander are nice too. Constantine was in my top 10 not that long ago, and Horatio is a current favourite of mine too! Honestly, all the feminine names are beautiful, but Ariadne, Flora, and Iris are particular favourites.

Zenon is interesting!

Yeah! I couldn't decide between Zen, Zeno and Zenon (I like them all), but I almost always lean towards the one that sounds the most complete.

I absolutely love Pyrrha - we did some Horace in my Latin class a few weeks ago and honestly, I aspire to be Horace's Pyrrha when I'm older! I really like Wolfram and Conrad too. Is it a coincidence that Historia and Reiner are taking me back to when I watched Attack on Titan at the tender age of 9 or 10?
vote up1
Wow I'm surprised to find another person who likes Pyrrha, I think it's sadly overlooked.Haha yeah all of the ones you mentioned I first discovered from characters actually. I remembered Historia because AoT is currently in it's last season (it first aired when I started college!), and Reiner became a favorite of mine from then too. I'd say I'm surprised you watched it so young but then again I was watching Death Note and Code Geass around that age too, so I'm not one to talk lol.

Astrid is my cat's name, so obviously it's my favourite from this list! Clara, Florence, Marsaili, Ophelia, and Persephone are all lovely. I love Hadrian (partially because of a book character I love but also just for the name itself), Magnus, Oscar, Sebastian, Soren, and Theodore.

Not a Dragon Age fan, just have some Celtic roots and think the meaning/origin is awesome :) Glad to hear it is being used in modern culture though!

Elijah, Jack and Sarah I only use in the middle name slot now, most of the others I don't use at all anymore. What surprises me a little is the number of similar names on my 2010 list: Elijah & Eliza, Taylor & Taylor, Alec & Alix.
